School of Christ in Liberia
by Stephen Cartwright SOC Director
The School of Christ was started in Liberia beginning of 2009, our national director Bro. Davies moved from Sierra Leone where he had been working with the School of Christ and brought his family to Liberia. He lived there for over 12 months gathering pastors from neighboring towns and villages to go through the school of Christ. The school closed down at the beginning of this year 2010.
Bro. Davies reported to us from Liberia, here are some of the things he testified.
"Greetings from Liberia. By the grace of God the school is doing well and the students are well pleased with the teachings. Everyday, the students are happy for the prayers the school is doing, and they have heard such kinds of teachings every week end when they go for weekends they come back very happy as they have used the of the School of Christ to teach people there.
I am thankful to God for His grace that was upon us to have a very good graduation for the first School of Christ International in Liberia, which has made a great impact into the lives of many that came for the School. This has caused people to come for the next school in July 5th 2009.
There were 26 students that went through the school 19 of them are senior pastors and 7 are evangelists. They were more than happy for such a school that has come into their nation."
