Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In Psalms 2, verse 8, the Father is talking to His Son; "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession." "Ask of Me." What does that mean? For Jesus, it meant He had to die, he had to go to Calvary. To the true believer, it has to mean the same thing, for we are His body. For you and I, the final generation, to repeat the success of the first generation, we must be like them in commitment. What was that commitment? "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Rev. 12:11).

God never pours Himself through the half hearted or uncommitted. All the Old Testament types, and New Testament reality teaches this great truth. Every man used of God to touch his generation had to pass through his own Gethsemane, where he died to every other will, but the will of God. This does not happen instantly, it is a painful progressive process of death and resurrection.

Since God is an infinite Sovereign, and you are His, He may not explain to you the 'whys' and 'wherefores' in His dealing with you. If you absolutely sell yourself to be His slave, He will take you unto Himself, and in His jealous love will allow others to say and do many things that you cannot. Settle now and forever; you are to deal directly with the Holy Spirit. He is to have the privilege of tying your tongue, chaining your hand, or closing your eyes in ways in which others are not dealt with.

However, if you are to remain steady in the test, when your understanding fails you, and your reason has a thousand questions, you must know this great secret of the Kingdom. When you are so completely possessed with the living God that you are, in your heart, pleased and delighted with this personal, private, guardianship and management of the Holy Spirit over your life, you will have found the vestibule of heaven, 'the high calling of God." You are now ready for the River to flow through you to others. The test is severe but the rewards are high. Many called, few are chosen.

God's reply to such asking is, "I shall give." Two thousand million souls, who have never heard the Name of Jesus, wait our asking. The only thing that can prevent the harvest is our unwillingness to die to our own will and desires. God has not called us to do the possible; we are called to do the impossible. The impossible only occurs on the far side of the resurrection. There can be no resurrection apart from death, which is death to all we are naturally. The secret of a fruitful life is - in brief - to pour out to others and want nothing for yourself: to leave yourself utterly in the hands of God and not care what happens to you."

When we ask we must be prepared to move. Until we act upon what we know to be the will of God we have not believed. This is brought out so clear in the life of Abraham. "Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness." Why? He simply believed what God had said, and willed to obey. He prostrated every doubt, and fear, and objection of reason, before the divine testimony and promise. So we, if we pretend faith, and then refuse to do what we believe to be the will of God, we will prove ourselves never to have believed from the heart in Christ and the gospel. Thus our deeds and our words are to be brought to judgment as a test of our faith or unbelief.

If you and I will simply WILL TO DO THE WILL OF GOD, both in our giving and our doing nothing can stop us from reaching this generation for Christ. Millions will believe if they hear, and the great commission makes us responsible that they hear. We are debtors to the least, the last and the lost, and around the world they are begging us to come.

God bless you, we are workers together with God.

God bless you,

His bondservant
