Trinidad Report
by Aubry Tyler SOC Director
Another school has come and gone, and what a time it was for those who attended. This class was no exception. The testimonies of those who attended were similar to those who attended previous schools. You could hear them say," I was dead" or "I was playing games." They said words like, "Now I know what the church is to be." Over and over they would say they now have a prayer life that they never had before. One pastor told me he never knew that his battle to manifest the life of Christ was a battle to subdue his old nature (the flesh).
This school was a special blessing as we had students from four nations represented this session. Trinidad, Saint Kist, Antigua as well as America were the makeup of this school. It was a special blessing to have our 17 year old nephew Keith Rambo with us in this school. Keith is a young man called to the ministry of evangelism. What a stir in his spirit he experienced as the lessons began to challenge him to give himself to God. Miss. Ann Dykes from Harrison Arkansas was also with us as God has called her to full time mission work. After graduation she will be going to Alabama to work with the Spackmans in the Abdulam House. There was also a young lady with us from Harrison, Arkansas who was preparing to go to college and follow the call to work in missions. She came confused and disillusioned by religion with a desire to know the will of God for her life. What a testimony she gave as now she knows God's direction for her life as she heard from God herself.
Pastors, evangelist and missionaries came out of this school and each testimony was inspiring to hear and know we are doing a good work for God as we see the lives transformed before our eyes.
God moved mightily as we were able with the students in attendance to minister in churches while in Trinidad.
