Greece Report

In September 2009 an evangelist from Thessaloniki attended the School in Iceland and invited us to bring the School of Christ to Greece. On February 14, 2010, I left to meet with pastors and look for a facility to house the School of Christ.
What a blessing it was for me to be with these beautiful Greek people, preaching this wonderful Gospel and feeling like Paul felt over this city. I was amazed to walk down the main street of Thessaloniki were Paul had walked so many years ago. This was the main highway for trade for the Roman Empire across Macedonia through Thessaloniki and Phillpi as well.
There are 3.5 million people in Thessaloniki with only about 3% claiming to be Pentecostal or Charismatic. What a battle has been set before the people of God in this city to bring about a change for revival to come again. I believe the School of Christ will be a defining factor in their ability to evangelize this nation once more for Christ.
I am going back in May to start the translation of the SOC into the Greek language. The first school is scheduled to run in August 2010. Please continue to stand with this school with your prayers and support as we finish the task set before us.
