In II Corinthians 11:10 Paul said, "As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia ." in this chapter the great Apostle of God is referring to his sufferings and labor in ministering to the church at Corinth. In reading this chapter again it was this one particular verse that stood out to me. The determination of this man of vision take the "...truth Christ in me..." to other regions in spite of opposition should be an example for us.
In the past six or seven months I have written you, it has been a great joy to share with you portions of reports and testimonies we receive from around the world. God is moving greatly and the message of Pastor Clendennen is having a profound effect in all the earth. I felt I should ask everyone to re-dedicate ourselves to take this Gospel of the Kingdom through the School of Christ to every region of the world. There will be obstacles but, when God ordains a work, He will fully furnish the fulfillment of His plan. Together let us continue through prayer and support to spread the Truth of Christ.
I am now reading e-mails that have come to our office from directors and workers on the mission field. I am so blessed and encouraged by them I thought I would briefly share a portion of several of these reports.
From Daren Downs: "In May I held several meetings at a church of a former student, there were several pastors and I am looking at the possibility to take the school to them... I want to do a school in this area in September of this year. It would be for 40 students and would also include a time of follow up with former students immediately following the school." He gave me the cost for this great work to be done. I believe God will speak people to about this need and they will give to support this amazing work. As God leads you, please be a part of supplying this need.
Brian Larsen, our director in Brazil, sent a report of the just completed Conference in that country. Along with pictures and testimonies he reported, "This time of intense teaching and seeking God left a definite mark on the present history of the church." He reported many miracles of divine healing and many others who were filled with the Holy Ghost. Brother Larsen is leaving tomorrow, August 6th, to set up the opening for the first School 0f Christ in Japan. What a miracle of God. I also have his financial request. Pray that God will speak to individuals and churches and that they will answer His voice, and give to this spreading of the Gospel.
Stephen McKay sent me this report and request for monies the work in Papua, New Guinea can go forth without hesitation. He wrote: "This is the pre-budget that we need to get the ball rolling, Andrew will be getting his passport as soon as the budget gets there... Our truck is still running great, but the tires are totally bald, and to get everything running from Hagen to Lae they will need new tires, and also the registration on the vehicle is expired.., talked to Brother Turner yesterday about the South Pacific, and in talking I do believe that we have found the right direction that we need to go with the School to be able to take it to the other 28 islands out there." Again, pray that people will be as Paul and declare this truth of Christ that must be preached, and that nothing shall stop it.
These are but a few words of reports we receive on a daily basis. It is nothing short of a miracle. Some of other Brother Clendennen's last words were, "the revival has come," Oh, how true the man of God was. In heaven we can all share together the joy of how God planned to send some and used others to give so the "called" could be sent.
We continue to receive many "thank you" remarks about our newly designed web site. We can only share bits and pieces of reports in a letter but we are putting more testimonies on our web site every day. Please visit it on a regular basis. You will be encouraged to see what God is doing through the School by means of your support.
God bless you and please pray for this ministry every day and ask God to give us new friends and supporters to supply an ever-increasing request for necessary funds needed by this ministry.
Working together until Jesus comes,
Robert Turnage
