"I have never understood the true meaning and purpose of the church, I have never understood what it means to be conformed to the image of Christ, but now I do. I am convinced that this School of Christ Correspondence Course was inspired and anointed by God Himself."
"I don't know how you got my name, but I know the Holy Spirit moved through someone to get this powerful and mind opening Course to me. I have shown it and shared it with others here and we all agree that it is the best and most in depth Correspondence Course seen yet."
Here is a testimony that speaks volumes for the teaching of the School of Christ and is one of the best I've heard, he writes,
"Your Bible study doctrine is solid and hard, exactly what we need, not the weak teaching that is so prevalent in here. Guys here want saved from hell, but not a hell lived lifestyle. They say their saved, I ask, saved from what? We need to hear what we don't want to hear!"
One student wrote me recently and told how he and others have been studying the Course together through the ventilation system. He wrote,
"The great thing about our ventilation Bible studying is that the vents lead all the way back to death row. Hardened men on death row are given an opportunity to hear the gospel."
Here are more testimonies.
"This is the most in depth life changing Bible study ever seen in Prison."
"This course has been life changing from the beginning to the end as each lesson has drawn me closer to our Savior."
"When I began this course it seemed a little overwhelming but the more I read and did, the more I wanted to know of Christ."
"We have heard of your Bible school through other inmates here and would like to enroll as well. We have had many other Bible studies but we have seen how intense your school is and how those who are now taking your school have changed. We want this too. Please send us your Bible school so we grow in Christ. Here are the names of five other ladies who want to start the school also."
"I have heard of your SOC Correspondence Course through another inmate. I am a born again Christian saved by grace and my mission is to study, read and pray every day that God allows me, so I am very interested in the course you provide. Thank you very much and may God bless you and your ministry."
"I would like so much to study your Bible study. One of my friends received your book this week and I think it is wonderful. I want so much to join and learn to."
"I have enrolled in many Bible studies through correspondence and they all have been good and helpful. However, the School of Christ has been extraordinary. Every packet has been astonishing. The knowledge in teaching the Word of God is overwhelming."
"This ministry has the power of God in it. This school was an answer to my prayers for guidance. I had been praying that He would show me how to fulfill His expectations and not be conformed to this world; the School of Christ has done this. I may never know who sent you my name but it was not me. It came to me one day by mail as I lay in a very dark prison cell; it was the answer to my prayer."
"I've read some of the School of Christ study guide and God willing I would like to enroll, if possible. I study the Bible just about every day and I find it the greatest book in my life. I would love to learn more through your study guide please. I hope to hear from you as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and God bless you all.
We also hear from Chaplains, Wardens and Guards.
One Chaplain called me about three weeks ago, and told me that he had an inmate transfer from another facility with the School of Christ Correspondence Course, he said, "I read some of the material, and this is exactly what I've been looking for, please, can you tell me more!" Two weeks later, he mailed me one hundred and twenty names from his facility to enroll in the Course. This is by no means an isolated incident.
One female guard called just to tell me that she's a Christian and has struggled trying to be a faithful witness to the inmates she guards, but has never seen any change, until one inmate let her read the School of Christ manual that she had brought in from another facility. She told me that it so changed her life that she began to witness boldly, and now runs a Bible study using the School of Christ manual, and has since seen an unbelievable change throughout the entire dorm she works in.
God has not only saved souls, but miraculously answered prayers for our students.
One woman wrote us about her daughter who was all but blind. She said please pray that God would restore my daughters sight, we stopped working and began to pray immediately for that girl. Two weeks later, we received a letter from this same woman telling us that God had miraculously healed her daughter's sight and that the doctor was astonished.
Another inmate wrote and said he had been praying 30 years for his mother's salvation, "please pray for her". Again, God answered prayer and his mother was wonderfully saved.
The most exciting reports we receive are those of restored marriages and families. Sin has devastating effects on the family. When a man or woman goes to prison the family is broken. Scripture says that, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy..." We love to pray over broken relationships because we have seen God restore them time and time again. The last half of that scripture gives great hope when Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

The real miracle in all of this is that one life touched has a ripple effect on everyone else around him. When a man has genuinely been born again, he carries life wherever he goes, and life begets life. Here is a great example.
"We at the _______ Detention Center have been tremendously blessed by this Bible study, and never have we ever experienced anything like it. It's so convicting yet so promising."
This testimony was signed by eight men, but only one of them was a student with us. One man brought life to seven others as a result of the School of Christ Correspondence course. These students come together lead by the Spirit of God to pray, fast and encourage one another. They don't just read the School of Christ and set it aside, they live it, and they preach it.
Here are more great testimonies.
"I have learned so much, and now I use your material to teach other inmates about Jesus."
"I found this course in the trash and at first thought it was just another lame Bible study that comes through here, but the more I read, the more I saw the truth of God and now I tell everyone about the School of Christ."
