The Good News Keeps Coming
In 1997 my wife and I spent five weeks in Kemerova, Russia teaching the School of Christ to some one hundred students. It was moving time, we rented a theatre building for the occasion and during the day people would come in off the street and listen.
One blind lady came in and received her sight while listening to the Word of God. On another occasion a demon possessed woman came in and God wonderfully delivered her. It was truly a time of revival.
One young man by the name of Jules came to the school from Gydanskiy the extreme North Pole on the Russian side. Someone had given him Nicki Cruz's testimony and he had been born again. A few months later somehow he heard about the school in Kemerova and through many miracles was able to attend. God stirred him mightily, and put in his heart a desire to reach his people with the gospel.
Before leaving Kemerova to return home he ask me to please come to Gydanskiy and help him to break through the witchcraft and superstition. Two years later I got there. I met with the governor who told me that I was the first American to visit, and the first man to bring Christianity. During my time there we preached in a small house and on the streets. We left fourteen born again believers.
Through the years it has been difficult to keep contact, but I often in prayer wondered what had come out of the work. In August while in the Ukraine Jules came. He had some how gotten news of the meeting and through much trials and tests, he, his wife, and six of his pastors came to the Ukraine to see me. What a blessing it was to see him and receive report.
God has multiplied the seed sown, there are now fourteen churches and many believers. He that goeth forth weeping bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again rejoicing bringing his sheaves with him.
