Yakov Demianchuk
Co-Director for Russia
Yakov Demianchuk works with a group of musical evangelistic, "Maranatha" who came to Moscow in 1993 to attend the School of Christ being held there.
Yakov is 45 years old, and deeply engaged in missionary work in the north-west regions of Russia. He has been the Co-Director of the School of Christ in Russia since 2000. In Russia, he also started the School of Christ on the Caucasus, in Azerbaijan.
"We equip the soldiers of Christ, missionaries and evangelists to reach the people the gospel of the kingdom."
Yakov leads a team of six shepherds, or Field Workers to distribute the School of Christ in the regions of Russia. Andy Smith in Caucasus, Pavel Demyachuk in the Southern Region, Andrei Kosygin in the central region, Oleg Silin in the Ural region. David Gearheart, who is also Co-Director of Russia, helps coordinate the schools. This is the main council of Field Workers for the work of the School of Christ in Russia.
Yakov writes that after he left Moscow, he traveled with Brother Clendennen to Russia, Ukraine and the Caucasus for the assembly.
"Through the School of Christ, we started the ministry in the north-west Russia by opening new churches in seven cities. Our team of pastors of the former students of the School of Christ, we traveled in evangelism projects throughout Russia, Estonia. Ukraine. We had contact with pastors in many regions of Russia. Since 2000, Ivangorod joined the office of School of Christ.
We prepared the School of Christ book and published it in Russian. During these ten years of our office, we have distributed materials videos of School of Christ, and books in Russia and now supply the European countries, Israel, Central Asia. Every day we received a call, accept calls and letters from different regions of Russia and other countries asking for books and video tutorials. This is the main office is to provide materials and help to initiate a school.
In the Ural region, in the central region, the Caucasus and north-west we have the regional directors through which we help to initiate and carry out night and day school of Christ. We may in the short term to ensure that all those who need support and materials."
